A trail from the reservoir dam to the White Foundation lands.

Summary

This trail lacks a specific culminating feature, but is an enjoyable walk in the woods across a variety of terrain forms. On the winter day this hike was taken, the trail featured a wild variety of ice and snow forms, many of which the author had never seen on any trail. But even in the summer, it would seem you could expect a comparatively level hike through mostly young woods, with a wide variety of water features. At five miles round trip, this is a bit long for some, but just right for others.

Three brown deer on tan grass. The one to the right is looking toward the photographer. A cluster of milky ice glass dripping from a ridge into the static water of the stream below. A snow covered narrow rise leads into the woods. Blobs of ice mingled with brown oak leaves. A driftwood tree with a lattice of almost perfectly round holes. A fractal vein pattern of branches against ice.
