The primary trail in the park, loops from the interior across the beaches and back.

Summary

The Bluff Point Main Trail Loop is a interesting and beautiful trail on easy terrain. Many types of flora and fauna can be seen. This trail is a favorite of ours.

The trail traverses forest, grassland, succession land, rocky beach, and passes a marsh.

Fish, crabs, insects, and many kinds of birds can be seen, each in their own place.

Though a busy park, the loop trail is not crowded - most of the visitors seem to either be dispersed or to stay close to the parking lot.

Enjoy!

Foreground filled with brilliant green brush; a dull blue ocean beyond, under a hazy blue sky. A woman in tan clothing, barely visible in a sea of bushes and low plants, with taller trees behind. A bluish rock to the right, textured like leather, surrounded by the dark trunks and the shaded green of forest foliage. A pale grey rock in the middle of the greenery, with piles of even paler rock on top. Broken slabs of pinkish stone with cracks showing A grass field with a narrow water channel leading toward a field of reeds and some trees.
