Damaged Trees

A broken barkless pine is bent over in splinters below evergreens and a blue sky.
Trees which are broken or injured.

Driftwood

A driftwood texture fallen pine looks like a centipede on the open leaf litter of the early winter ground.
Dried and dead trees.

Gnarly Trees

The trunk of a gnarly old tree, highly textured with sun and shadow, with holes and knobs from missing limbs.
Trees that have been deformed or which show their age by their gnarled shapes.

Rock Eating Trees

A giant root hugs a boulder, while Mark stands beside the boulder.
Many trees seem to be enveloping boulders. Making soil, eventually.

Roots

A tangle of venous roots cross the path. The trees beyond are hazed with light. To the left, a tree trunk displays a blue blaze.
All kinds of interesting roots.
