Lonesome Lake

The mountains are bluish green beyond the foliage line that is the rim of the metallic lake water. Green low foliage of even height is in the foreground.
A lake on a high plateau with beautiful views and interesting plants and wildlife.

Monadnock - Side Foot Trail

A view down a long bumpy granite slab toward the ground far below; a hiker on the slab and two more in the distance help set scale
A less-traveled trail that parallels the well-known White Arrow Trail.

Monadnock White Dot Trail - Winter

Sue blurred in the foreground and Dan blurred by wind, snow and fog in the background.
An incredibly cold adventure in 70 mph winds, snow, and fog - and we almost got lost!

Mount Hale

A line of perfect pines, lit by sun, backed by a shadowed mountain; above, dark grey clouds.
A tall mountain whose bare summit is gradually reforesting.

Nancy Cascades

Branching white streams of water flow down dark rock, with green trees at the top of the fall admitting only a V of sky light.
A long stream paralleled by wide path, leading to a high waterfall and steep headwall trail.
