Lookout Ledge

Low glowing clouds over a forested mountain, with a road crossing below and a pond to the left.
A steep and "jungly" hike to a great view of the north side of the Presidentials.

Lowe's Bald Spot

Mark descends into krummholz with a ridge and summit beyond.
A small subordinate peak below Mount Washington provides a lovely hike with all the vast sights of the White Mountain National Forest.

Marlboro Trail

A mountainous looking piece of granite opens the view toward stunning autumn foliage and an ice-blue, cloud-spotted sky.
A surprisingly steep trail with spectactular views.

Mount Grace

A slope of snow with tall trees beyond, and a fire tower peeking from behind a massive conifer to the right.
A double peak trail near the New Hampshire border.

Mount Tom - Metacomet / Monadnock Ridge

The ridge is orange brown and grey rock falling away as a cliff on the left. Bare trees cap the top and the distant landscape beyond shades into blue sky.
The tip of a long ridge at the southwest end of a massive arc of cliffs and slopes, marked with highly visible communication towers, long ago the home of a resort hotel.
