A pleasant ridge trail overlooking colonial-era mine / prison Newgate Prison.

A softly dusty trail leads under winter trees toward the edge of the ridge. A stony rise with a gnarled, forked tree against the rocks and a blue sky. A distant view of two major buildings from the colonial era - to the right, a white building (Viets) and to the left, the brown and orange prison buildings. Evergreens and bare deciduous trees on the floor of the valley are softened by an early winter late day haze. An aged bronze disk marked with the date of the survey and who to contact, in the center of a stone on the summit.
