 A small subordinate peak below Mount Washington provides a lovely hike with all the vast sights of the White Mountain National Forest.

Two mountain ridges, one behind the other, with clouds running down the farther one. About two thirds of the way up the farther ridge is a faintly bare bulge. A set of trail signs labeled The sign warns you to only try this trail if you are in top physical condition, well clothed and carrying extra cloting and food. A pair of matched trees with shaggy bark and exposed roots. A low, wide wooden bridge carries the course of a relatively flat and smooth dirt trail.
