A broad, flat section of dirt trail under conifers and birches. A pair of tall stemmed plants with brilliant green striated leaves from their base. A yellowish brown slug on a yellowish brown and white mushroom, amidst fleshy green leaves mottled with brown, red, purple and grey specks. A rugged rooty trail crosses a dry drainage tributary that leads to the river on the left. Small, rough red mushrooms with bites taken out revealing a yellowish flesh. The stalks are rough and whitish, reddening toward the top, growing from moss beside a pine root.
