Sue looks to her right at something just off the trail. A tree trunk is in the foreground, and the planked trail leads off into the hemlocks beyond. A velvety brown capped mushroom, with the cap having a pale edge, and a coffee colored stalk, sprouts from a moss and lichen covered stump Foreground low foliage, the lake, and some small whitish boulders near the far shore. Beyond, more forest and low mountain peaks. A very rocky steep slope with trees of even height. A hiker descends to the left.
