Mattatuck To Beaver Pond - Crossing Stone Walls

Stone walls are common in New England, and all indicate demarcations within or at the edges of property. Usually, they were used in fields. It is likely that none of the trees here were present when the walls were raised from stones extracted from the fields.

Mount Nonotuck - Archway and Sloping Wall
