West Peak / Metacomet Trail - First Bridge

Ara looks down over the edge of a wooden bridge that tops the first rise from the steel bridge that crosses the highway. Below this bridge is a ravine that, in heavy rains, carries significant water, but which is mostly dry or carrying only a tiny amount of water.

Appalachian Trail / Mount Katahdin - Ron On The Bridge

Where the trail crosses near Katahdin Stream Falls, this bridge simplifies the crossing. Ron sets the scale while Ara takes the picture.

Pemi Trail - Log Bridge
