Peak Mountain / Metacomet Trail - To The Edge Of The Ridge

Not long past the arched trees, the Metacomet Trail - Peak Mountain exposes soft, dusty, beige soil, and heads for the rim of the ridge. In the early winter, the view is relatively unobstructed, but you can see from the position of the branches that trees typically block the view in the spring and summer.
