West Peak / Metacomet Trail - West Side Of Ravine Looking North Along The Cliff

A barrier of outward tilting copper colored rock to the left, meshed with green foliage and under a brilliant blue sky.

This view from out at the end of the west side of the ravine shows the slightly overhanging crag edge and the forest to the north. There is no official trail to this position, which is reached by departing to the left from the trail where it reaches the cliff at the west side of the ravine. The excursion is worthwhile for the interesting rock, the challenging short climbs and the outlook at the end.
