Newgate North - Possible Bear Scat

An irregular dark slimy mass on leaves and a stick.

This scat may be from a bear that is eating a lot of spring berries. It is essentially undifferentiated, and the Stokes Guide to Animal Tracking and Behavior suggests that in this size range, bear is the only animal that produces such a scat.
