 A multiple hill section of the Metacomet, with a large gravel pit, historic stone fences, and some very old trees.

High tension lines stand above a road, with everything backlit by a brilliant and visible sun A pine tree arches broken over the snow-choked trail. A broken basalt stone wall crosses the path, with trees growing up from it. A broken basalt stone wall extends a rectangular outline pile, partly blanketed with snow. A snow covered trail, marked with footprints, lined with evergreens on each side, makes a turn to the left as we face the sun.
