 A small but pretty mountain trail in mid-Massachusetts.

A large rock composed of smaller rocks in a finer matrix; beyond, the dirt path leading into the shadows between green trees. A tall pine lit like metal, with green foliage encircling it and blue sky above. A horizontal pine log crusted with papery orangish crust. A section of tall, uniformly young trees to either side of the path, casting shadows across the packed earth. A tiny orange mushroom on moss, beside a grey root.
