Great Gulf Trail - Flat Section Of Trail
The trail on the west of the Peabody River is very flat and wide on its lower sections - two can walk abreast in this section. The photographer was overtaken by a head-height, fast flying beetle just after this image was taken.

Great Gulf Trail - Slug on a 'Shroom
Slugs love to eat mushrooms. You can see where it has rasped the upper surface. The bite mark in the foreground may be from a red squirrel.
