 A lake on a high plateau with beautiful views and interesting plants and wildlife.

A tree, almost forty-five degrees down, hangs over a thin and narrow stream, with green trees beyond.

Lonesome Lake - Slanting Tree and Faint Stream

This tree is one of several on the lower section of the trail that seem to be partly undermined. A thin thread of stream feeds into a more substantial brook below.
